Xstitch is led by doctors and health system experts. We design new health and well-being services and strengthen existing ones.
We bring community services, schools, employers, hospitals and primary care around the same table, and help them work together for the people they share.
We then step back so it works work without us.

Why don’t services just work together?
Everyone is doing the best they can, but under different rules, funding and processes. Some things get missed and others are doubled-up. The only people that see this are the community.
We build the “glue” that creates shared decisions, clear pathways and a way of working that puts people at the centre.

Xstitch is a for-purpose organisation*
*What does this mean?
We're driven by mission and values aligned with the social sector (like supporting marginalised communities). There are no shareholders, so any surplus lets us subsidise smaller organisations.
We publish our prices, and we've never had to shape a program to suit a funder's priorities instead of a community's.
Xstitch is incorporated as a not-for-profit, certified as a social enterprise by Social Traders, and registered with the Australian Charities and Non-Profits Commission (ACNC) as a Public Benevolent Institution with DGR status.
